You can sign up and operate the site without adding your bank details. You are able to add your bank details manually to your profile at any time but they will only be requested by Sherpa at the point of making a booking.
When creating a lesson you will be asked for you bank details. If your tutor creates the lesson you will be asked for your bank details when you approve the booking.
Now that the lesson is confirmed to go ahead, payment will be taken from your account 24hrs in advance of the lesson start time, not when you add your details.
Cancelling the booking after the payment has been made will create an automatic refund which you will receive after our holding period of 48hrs. Please note if you decide to cancel the booking less than 12 hours before the lesson is due to start you will only be entitled to a refund of half the booking fee.
